GULF OF NAPLES

Before dawn we passed between Capri and the Continent and we entered in the Gulf of Naples. I was on the bridge. The blurred mass of Vesuvius was soon in sight. I recognized it by a painting (of the mother?). Sooner I "heard" the city.
